Do you want to go to Orlando?

In the class of L/L Writing (Language through Literature Writing) we talked about the description of a place. We had to choose one place and we had to describe it. We follow five steps:

• Background information
• Good points of the place
• Bad points of the place
• Things you can see and do
• Conclusion

Then we started writing our 1st draft, then the 2nd and finally we published. This is my piece of writing.

Orlando is the best state in Florida. It is located in the central part of Florida. This state has 2,134,411 of inhabitants. This is the 26th largest metro area in USA. This state is also known as "The beatiful city" or "The theme park capital of the world"

Orlando is a good place because of their thematic park as Disney World or Universal Studios. This state is very attractive. Also there are many resorts, they are amazing, especialy the Walt Disney World Resorts, they are very attractive and they are very colorful decorated and friendly.

What I don't like about Orlando is the weather, it is very bad. In summer is very hot and in winter it is very cold. There are also many rainy days. Another thing that I don't like, is that it is very expensive!

Per year there are 51 million tourists. This place is so popular because of many thematic parks. You can visit; Disney World, Universal Studios, Island of Adventure, City Walk, Sea World, Gatorland and Wet'n wild water park.

The conclusion is that you can do many things. Theme parks, attraction parks, sea parks, etc. This place is awesome. So if you come here you wouldn't get bored.
